In October of 2008, four women bought a foreclosed and boarded up house on a 1/3 of an acre in El Sobrante. Their vision was to carry out a natural retrofit, and to create both a home and a center to learn and teach ways to live in a more sustainable and regenerative way.  One of the co-founders, Trilby duPont, will share pictures and discuss the earthen buildings, food and water systems on the site, and the learning process of engaging with the county, neighbors, and one another.
