Tomato inventor Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms is coming back to the nursery on August 21 at 11 am to share some of his outrageous tomato creations!Brad will be bringing dozens of varieties, including heirloom favorites, a huge selection of his personal inventions, and _ MOST exciting! _ a handful of BRAND NEW tomatoes, which means you can try tomatoes that have NEVER BEEN EATEN BEFORE!! Your feedback may help launch his next exciting variety! Bonus! Brad will be selling tomatoes, too, so bring a bag and save yourself a trip to the farmer's market!Wild Boar Farms grows all of their tomatoes in the Suisun Valley and this summer you can find Brad and his tomatoes at the Grand Lake Farmers Market every Saturday 9-2. They also have a starring role at many fine local restaurants, including Camino and Lake Chalet in Oakland, Boulevard and One Market in San Francisco and Café Rouge and Chez Panisse in Berkeley, to name a few.
