Sustainable Danville-Area has planned a very special "Green Indulgence" for our November Forum that will keep you (and our planet) looking beautiful throughout the holidays.
What better way to prepare for this year's "season of giving" than to be pampered with environmentally responsible spa and salon products at the Aveda™ Salon in Walnut Creek.
Aveda is hosting this "after hours party" for Sustainable Danville-Area members and friends on:
DATE: Thursday, November 18th
TIME: 6:30-8:30pm
HOSTED BY: Sustainable Danville-Area and Aveda
LOCATION: Aveda, 1163 Broadway Plaza (across from Starbucks)
Aveda specializes in producing high-integrity products (hair, skin, cosmetics) for both men and women that conform to the world's most advanced standards for intelligent design, sustainable stewardship and reuse of materials.
In 2009, Aveda™ became the first beauty company in the world (and only the second U.S. company in any industry) to receive a Cradle to Cradle (C2C) sustainability endorsement, with seven Aveda products achieving GOLD Level C2C certification.
Throughout Aveda's 30-year history, the company's accomplishments have included the pioneering use of wind energy in the beauty industry, leadership in the use of recyclable packaging and support of organic agriculture.
