Virginia Northrop, Senior Ranger with EBMUD, will lead a hike to view the Willow Creek restoration project on Nunes Ranch, which is usually closed to the public. Enjoy scenic views of open grasslands in the late afternoon light, and congenial company. Moderate hike of 2 miles. Locked gate at beginning and end, arrive on time. Directions: From San Pablo Dam Road, turn onto Castro Ranch Road and travel about 1.5 miles. Just past the Carriage Hills development, look on the right for a large turnout with mailbox #1250.
