Help create and maintain a beautiful, water-conserving garden that demonstrates healthy garden practices using water recycling, mulch, drought-tolerant and native plantings, and no pesticides. Garden work parties may prepare beds, compost, chip, weed, prune, water, plant, transplant, repair paths. Volunteers learn better gardening practices, drought-tolerant and native plant identification, soil preparation, and how to attract pollinators and beneficial insects, while enjoying the company of other gardeners and the beautiful setting overlooking Mt. Diablo.
