Come celebrate EARTH DAY!
Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery, a Garaventa Company, is hosting its 6th Annual Family Earth Day event! New this year is a Jumpy Houses, Cart Races, Food as well as the tours, trucks and art activities! Come stop by anytime between 10 am- 1pm at Mt. Diablo Recycling, located at 1300 Loveridge Road in Pittsburg! This is a free drop-in event fun for the whole family!
If you are interested in a tour of the recycling facility (90,000 square-feet), get there around 10:15. Tour starts at 10:30. You will learn about “Big Blue” and “Big Wall-e” recycling machines, the 5 R’s (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle-Respect-Recover) and then go on a walking tour! Afterward you can have fun on the jumpy houses, race recycling carts, have some food or make a craft made from recyclable items!
