Are you curious about how to transform your yard from a grass lawn to a drought-tolerant garden? It can seem like an overwhelming task if you have no prior experience. Join us for this two day series so you can receive some hands-on experience, tips, and tricks before taking on your own home garden. Work with the professionals of The Ruth Bancroft Garden to transform a local home lawn into a beautiful garden. The first class on August 24th will focus on the removal of the lawn and preparing the landscape for a new garden with soil amendments. The second class on August 25th will cover the topics of irrigation and planting the garden. Join us for one or both classes.
