Event Description
Sustainable Lafayette, the City of Lafayette, and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce invite you to Lafayette’s 6th annual Earth Day Picnic & Celebration! For over 40 years, Earth Day–April 22nd–has inspired and mobilized individuals and organizations worldwide to demonstrated their commitment to environment protection and sustainability. This year the Earth Day Network is trying to rally 1 billion acts of green. In Lafayette we will be celebrating all that we are doing as a community to protect our environment, with a community picnic right in the middle of town.
