Get a head start on your planning for the dry year ahead. This workshop, taught by Kathy Echols of Diablo Valley College focuses on plants that are drought-tolerant, needing minimal water (if any) during the summer and how to set up a successful summer dry garden. Learn about not just succulents, but California and Australian natives and other Mediterranean climate plants. See, feel, touch, and experience the plants, and pick up planting and design tips. A selection of plants will be available for purchase after the class.
