The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is partnering with the Restoration Trust in a return planting effort at the Clayton Valley Drain, a tributary of Walnut Creek that flows through Concord.  Last year’s planting event provided an excellent start to restoring native grasses to the banks of our local streams, but due to one of the driest years on record some of the areas did not thrive, and need some TLC.

A barbecue lunch will be provided!
