Come learn about this amazing water supply that falls from the sky.

Rainwater harvesting saves water, helps prevent water pollution, provides a high-quality irrigation supply, and is an alternative or emergency water supply.

Learn about rainwater collection, rain gardens, and rainwater cistern components at this hands-on workshop. Participants will install two 600 gallon tanks, a first flush diverter system, inlet and overflow piping, and leaf screens. We'll also demonstrate how to connect rain barrels together to create a larger capacity storage system using 55 gallon barrels.

Cost: Sliding scale $30-$100, limited work-trade spots available. Lunch provided.
