California Coastal Cleanup Day is a state-wide event on September 19 where volunteers work together to remove trash from California's beaches and waterways. Join SPAWNERS as we celebrate Coastal Cleanup Day one week early, on September 12. We'll be cleaning up our restoration site behind the El Sobrante Library. People with all levels of experience are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sturdy shoes, comfortable work clothes, and bring a water bottle. SPAWNERS will provide tools, gloves, and snacks. Please RSVP if bringing a group of 4 people or more firstname.lastname@example.org or 510-665-3538. Groups of 10 or more minor volunteers (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Every volunteer must have valid waivers on file. Volunteers under 18 must have their waivers signed by a parent or legal guardian. Click here for waiver forms and more information.
