Coastal Cleanup Day 2016

How to Get Involved in the Largest Cleanup Event on the Planet

2016 marks the 32nd anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day, and you can be a part of this momentous event. Last year 68,000+ volunteers from around the state came out to pick up 1,142,99 pounds of debris from our creeks and shorelines. In Contra Costa over 3,700 volunteers came out to help tally marine debris and litter from streets, creeks and shorelines.

This year, YOU can join The Watershed Project and many other local organizations from all over Contra Costa County for Coastal Cleanup Day. Bring your family and friends to help clean up our shorelines and creeks.
