Join rescued elephants "live" in Thailand via Skype* with your host, International artist Connie English, and founder of BLES, Katherine Connor (http://blesele.org/). Hear the entertaining stories and see the short film of this artist’s experience living with the elephants while creating a community mosaic mural to raise awareness of their plight. Learn how a local fundraiser and the events that followed are now putting BLES on the international map. Then follow Connie’s continued journey to Utah, where she recently created Parrot mosaics at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (www.BestFriends.org). She will tell you what motivated her to go and all the exciting things that have transpired as a result of her visit. Share her photos, videos, and stories of the abandoned parrots up for adoption, as well as the gentle and shy Vicktory Dog that stole her heart
(ex- NFL star Michael Vick rescued pit bulls reside at Best Friends). Venture into her upcoming trip in March of 2013 to Zambia Africa where she will live within a local village and create a large Rhino mosaic with the children of Chipembele (http://www.chipembele.org/).
