Event Description

JOIN SUSTAINABLE DANVILLE AREA FOR A HONEY TASTING & MOVIE NIGHT TO SUPPORT MONTE VISTA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS' IN BUILDING AN ORGANIC GARDEN ON THEIR CAMPUS.

Activities begin at 6PM with tasty samples of local honey from beekeeper Steve Gentry of Steve’s Bees. Additionally, a selection of special dessert treats and organic Steve’s Bees products will be available for purchase.

At 6:45PM we will screen the captivating documentary Queen of the Sun: What are the Bees Telling Us? entering the mysterious world of the beehive and following the engaging journey of beekeepers, farmers and scientists struggling to protect our honeybees.

The event benefits students efforts to raise funds for the MVHS ORGANIC GARDEN on campus. Suggested minimum donation $5.
